Keenan Creates Online School Safety Center to Offer Resources

TORRANCE, CA – Keenan, a California-based insurance brokerage and consulting firm for schools and public agencies, has launched a new School Safety Center website providing comprehensive resources to help schools address emerging risks of child abuse and bullying, campus safety and security, and Title IX anti-discrimination compliance. Keenan highlighted the School Safety Center at the California Association of School Business Officials (CASBO) Annual Conference, April 12-15, 2017, in Long Beach.

The site is designed to bring together the information schools need to better protect students, staff and their communities while enhancing a safe environment for students to learn and prosper. It offers a wide range of best practices, tools and training courses, at no cost, that institutions can utilize to achieve their goal of providing such an environment.

Six modules are available, each filled with in-depth information on the following issues:

The district is partnering with Blach Construction and Quattrocchi Kwok Architects (QKA) on the education and workforce development center, which will support Calaveras Hills High School.

  • TCU Completes Construction on New Medical School Building

    Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas, recently completed construction on a new home for the Anne Burnett Marion School of Medicine, according to a news release. Arnold Hall, standing four stories and covering 95,000 square feet, is the university’s first major off-campus development.
