ASUS Unveils New ExpertBook Series Devices

Global technology provider ASUS unveiled its new 2022 Expert Series portfolio today, offering new computing solutions to the education, retail, healthcare and enterprise markets, among others. A press release notes that the new line includes configurable ExpertBook Laptops, ExpertCenter Desktops, MiniPCs, Workstations and AiO (all-in-one) models fit for both hybrid and remote work opportunities. Most notably, the new Expert Series introduces the ExpertBook B9 (B9450CBA), a 14-inch business laptop; and the ExpertBook B7 Flip (B7402FBA), a 14-inch 5G flip laptop.

“The workplace has changed, and it’s up to business owners, executives, educators, retailers and other workers to decide its future,” said Steve Chang, ASUS Computer International President, in a news release. “These users are forging the new future of work, and they need tools that work invisibly, reliably and seamlessly day after day. ASUS is known for innovating highly reliable and durable devices for the consumer and gaming markets. Now, with the Expert Series portfolio, we are setting a new standard for the commercial PC market to enable businesses to define their new work style—whatever that might be—with elite performance, premium craftsmanship, durability and enterprise-grade tools.”

A press release notes a number of features designed to optimize performance. The technology offers increased durability and reliability through amenities like sturdy craftsmanship, reinforced construction and use of sustainable materials. The computers meet MIL-STD 810H U.S. military standards to endure hours and days of consistent use. Configurable laptops, desktops and workstations offer flexibility and agility. And the technology is simple to manage via Intel vPro Enterprise and Essentials options, as well as the MyASUS app.

The ExpertBook B9 weighs 880 grams (about 1.94 pounds), features a magnesium-lithium forged lid and offers a battery life of up to 16 hours. The laptop offers an EPEAT Gold certification and comes in sustainable packaging. The ExpertBook B7 Flip is recommended for mobile and flexible work opportunities, offering up to 11 hours of battery life and optional 5G capabilities. Hinges allow the screen to rotate a full 360 degrees for use as a tablet or laptop. It also offers amenities like a 16:10 touchscreen, magnetic stylus, and biometric login capabilities including facial and fingerprint recognition, as well as a PrivateView mode that fades the screen at a 45-degree viewing angle.
