Brightly Software, XOi Partner for New HVAC Data Solution

Siemens company Brightly Software recently announced a partnership with data intelligence company XOi to integrate real-time HVAC system data into Brightly’s Asset Essentials CMMS, according to a news release. The integration will allow facilities more insight into HVAC system performance, health, and risk across their operations.

“Asset data quality is the foundation of smarter, more resilient facilities and is critical to powering data-driven decisions,” said Brightly Software CEO Don Kurelich. “Our partnership with XOi is an important step forward to deliver real-time visibility into critical systems, enabling facilities leaders to eliminate maintenance blind spots, combined with ongoing service and performance histories to extend asset life and long-term planning.”

The data provided will help facilities use previously static, disconnected, incomplete, or inconsistent data into a living dataset at both the micro and macro levels. The insights lead facilities toward accurately measuring performance, forecasting costs, planning strategic investments, and more, the news release reports.

XOi’s optical character recognition (OCR) technology can scan, capture, and import more than 100 separate data points within HVAC units, including parts specifications, wiring diagrams, service bulletins, and user manuals.

“Facility leaders are under tremendous pressure to do more with less while ensuring uptime and compliance,” said XOi Founder and CEO Aaron Salow. “Our partnership with Brightly ensures they have a complete, real-time view of their equipment. This intelligence allows them to make better financial and operational decisions—keeping their facilities running safely, efficiently and sustainably.”

According to the news release, partnership benefits include improved operations through easy access to all equipment records, the ability to plan and spend more strategically, and ensuring compliance.
