This Guide is written primarily for school facility managers and energy managers to help them collaboratively manage the relationships between energy efficiency upgrades and IAQ in schools. Using the guidance and tools will help to reduce health risks during your building upgrade project. This web page gives the audience access to guidelines, examples of school energy efficiency projects, Checklist Generator tool and additional resources.
The webinar series was developed and hosted by U.S. EPA in collaboration with a group of diverse stakeholders known as the School Health and Indoor Environments Leadership Development (SHIELD) Network in order to build capacity of school district staff across the country to start, improve or sustain an IAQ management program. The ten one hour technical web-based trainings are available on demand.
