Compete to Win $50,000 at Sustainable Campus Competition LIVE! at AASHE 2016

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Entries are now being accepted to Sustainable Campus Competition LIVE!, hosted by Kimberly-Clark Professional, where one higher education institution can win $50,000 toward a new or existing sustainability project on their campus.

“We are proud to support this competition at the 2016 AASHE Conference & Expo. It provides a great opportunity for creative thinking around sustainability projects and will make a long-standing impact toward advancing one institution's sustainability goals,” says AASHE Executive Director Meghan Fay Zahniser.

The competition features three rounds. All entrants are expected to submit their best idea in 500 words or less about a campus initiative that is related to energy, waste, food, water or climate change. From there, ten semi-finalists will be invited to submit a two-minute video and one-page financial overview of their project. Three finalists will then be selected to present their project in front of a panel of judges and a live audience at the 2016 AASHE Conference & Expo.

The grand-prize winner of $50,000 will be selected on stage during the AASHE Conference & Expo on October 10, 2016, at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, MD. For complete contest details and to enter, visit the AASHE website.
