Work Begins on New California Elementary School

Work is underway for the new Marigold Elementary School in Chico, Calif. The project will see the demolition of the main classroom building, along with the addition of three new buildings, and changes in almost every other aspect of the school. The construction will occur over three years in a way that will accommodate current students.

Once the two-story classroom building is complete, work will begin on both administrative and multipurpose buildings. The district will bring in multiple portable units to house students during construction.
