Tutt Construction to Upgrade Wyoming High School's Bleachers

At its meeting in early March, the Sheridan County School District 2 in Sheridan, Wyo., awarded a bid for new bleachers to Tutt Construction Inc. of Billings, Mont. The total bid for the project, including delivery and installation of the new bleachers at Sheridan High School, was $147,000.

According to Assistant Superintendent Scott Stults, the new bleachers will replace the portable ones currently residing on the west and east sides of the high-school gymnasium. Unlike the existing ones, the new bleachers will be motorized, allowing one or two people to be able to move them as necessary instead of a larger group.

Stults also said that the new bleachers will be much more secure and much safer than the ones currently in use.
