Scholarship Launched to Invest in the Next Generation of Construction Technology Leaders

SAN DIEGO, CA – NoteVault, a leader in construction innovation and technology, has announced their launch of a new college scholarship designed to support future technology leaders in architecture, engineering and construction.

Applications are now being accepted for NoteVault’s Future of Construction Technology Scholarship, aimed at empowering tomorrow’s leaders to consider one of the largest industries in the world, construction. The scholarship program will award one college student with $1,000 to put towards their educational expenses. Deadline to enter is July 31, 2017, and winners will be announced by August 15, 2017.

“With all signs pointing to a boom in construction technology adoption on the job site, it is more important now than ever to invest in future leaders and show them the level of opportunity in the industry,” says Peter Lasensky, founder, and CEO for NoteVault. “We’re excited to see what the future construction executives have to say about their visions for technology and the challenges they foresee the industry will have to overcome.”

The construction industry is the largest employer in the world and is expected to grow 70 percent by 2025. The areas of opportunity are endless for technology-focused individuals yet companies are having a hard time meeting the demand for these roles. By providing this scholarship, NoteVault hopes to inspire students to pursue technology-driven careers in the construction industry.

Open to current college students, the scholarship will provide resources to help them launch their careers. To apply, students will be asked to provide a resume and write a 500-word essay on their thoughts around the future of the construction industry’s increased utilization of technology.
