Moore County Prepares for New School Construction

The “Area I Elementary School” was announced and enjoyed a groundbreaking ceremony recently in Moore County, N.C. The new school, slated to open around August of 2019 will provide much needed space for the growing district.

The school also will relieve the district of mobile units being used as classrooms. The initial site was abandoned, and the new 36-acre site was announced as a new home for the school. The new school is first on the docket of many proposed improvements and upgrades for Moore County.
