Construction Set to Begin on Connecticut Elementary School

Construction is set to begin on the new Wheeler Elementary School in Plainville, Conn., at the end of the school year. The renovate-as-new project is being handled by Kaestle Boos Architects (New Britain, Conn.), and will help the school deal with a growing student body, and add other features to the new facility.

A security vestibule, a new entrance, and a new roof are among features that students and teachers will be returning to in the fall in the new school. Overall construction of the facility is slated for completion in in February of 2020.
