Tarkett, Summit Flooring Supply Announce Partnership

Flooring and sports surface solutions provider Tarkett announced this week that it has formed a distribution partnership with Summit Flooring Supply. Summit will expand Tarkett’s distribution network to states like Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Wyoming and Colorado. The partnership will take effect immediately and allow Tarkett to meet the needs of commercial customers in new areas.

“For Tarkett, partnering with Summit Flooring supports our focus on strategic expansion in distribution, which presents an important growth opportunity for our company,” said Jeff Fenwick, president, Commercial Business for Tarkett North America. “Summit Flooring has a strong reputation for quality service and solutions with flooring dealers, installers and contractors, which will help enhance Tarkett’s reach in key strategic markets. We’re excited to have the opportunity to partner with them today and well into the future.”

Summit Flooring now has access to Tarkett’s inventories of rubber tile and wall base accessories, expanding their reach into commercial areas like education, workplace, healthcare and multi-family.

“Aligning ourselves with a strong partner in Tarkett will further enhance our ability to provide exceptional service, support and solutions to our customers,” said Chip Moxley, president of Summit Flooring Supply. “We’re excited about the opportunities this partnership will bring for our company and, in turn, our customers and partners.”
