Lawrence Group Announces Expansion of Student Housing Studio

Integrated planning and design firm Lawrence Group recently announced that it has hired Nick Naeger, AIA, as the new Associate Principal / Senior Project Manager at its headquarters in St. Louis, Mo., according to a news release. Naeger will join the Student Housing practice following the firm’s acquisition of student housing design firm KWK Architects in 2023, strengthening the firm’s ability to provide productive student environments.

“We are very excited to have Nick join our student housing team,” said Lawrence Group Chief Operating Officer Tim Rowbottom. “His knowledge and leadership will continue to allow us to expand our national expertise in student housing and campus life.”

Naeger has a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Kansas State University, the news release reports, and specializes in academic spaces, dining facilities, and residence halls. He has worked on projects at higher education institutions like Colorado State University, The Pennsylvania State University, Washington University in St. Louis, University of Notre Dame, and Texas Tech University.

“I enjoy being involved in every aspect of a project, from preparing initial building programs and campus planning to fine-tuning the finishing details of a project,” said Naeger. “I believe architects play an important role in defining campus life, and I am excited to support positive student outcomes through quality design.”
