Georgia State University Announces Year-Round Event Management Services (EMS) Provided By University Housing Conference Services

ATLANTA, GA – Georgia State University Housing offers a competitive ONE STOP SHOP Conference Service program located in the heart of downtown Atlanta. Georgia State University Housing Conference Services, is an affordable option for all conferences, meetings, trainings, summer programs, internship housing and event management needs. Services include: registration management, off-site bookings, accommodations, meeting space, catering and meals, audio/visual and much more!

There are now three standout services provided by Georgia State University Housing Conference Services, which include Event Management Services (EMS), Summer Conferences and Internship Housing.

Event Management Services
An effective meeting begins long before the first day of an event. Conference Services Event Management makes planning, logistics and registration for an event are easy and seamless. Event Management Services (EMS) is available throughout the year to groups all over the world, for total on-site and off-site event management and all planning needs. EMS Package

Summer Conferences
Conference Services provides a variety of conference and meeting servicing options for corporations, organizations and individuals. À La Carte services and amenities include: group-specific registration website, attendee management, optional accommodation styles, unique meeting space, select catering and dining and ADA accessibility. Groups and individuals of 1 to 2,000 can be accommodated for short- and long-term stays during the summer from May 15th through August 1st.

Summer Intern Housing
Long-term stay accommodations are available to those interning in the metro Atlanta area. First-class housing, numerous amenities and an exceptional location are provided in the heart of downtown Atlanta. Intern accommodations include private bedroom with a shared bath, living space and full-sized kitchen, as well as many dining options within the local area, including the Panther Dining Halls.

Within minutes from the Hartsfield-Jackson Airport, three blocks away from downtown Marta Station, local restaurants and Atlanta attractions, conference and programs guests will enjoy experiencing the city of Atlanta while attending an event.     University of Virginia Selects Design-Build Team for New Residential Complex

    The University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Va., recently announced that it has selected a design-build team for a new upper-class residential development on campus, according to a news release. Capstone Development Partners—in partnership with Elkus Manfredi Architects and the Hoar Construction/Hourigan construction team—will move forward with the three-building, 310,000-square-foot housing facility.
