ASBO Awards Scholarships to Emerging School Business Leaders

Ashburn, Va. – The Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO) is excited to announce the recipients of the 2018 Emerging School Business Leaders Scholarship. The scholarship awards school business managers who have fewer than five years’ experience with $2,000 to attend ASBO International’s Annual Meeting & Expo.

ASBO International’s Annual Meeting is the premier professional development event for school business officials. The conference provides attendees education sessions, workshops, and seminars on school business issues and offers invaluable networking opportunities. The 2018 Annual Meeting & Expo will take place September 21–24, in Kissimmee, Florida.

“The Emerging School Business Leaders Scholarship opens the path for district officials who are seeking professional development and a network of mentors to guide them in their careers,” says ASBO International Executive Director John Musso, CAE, RSBA. “At a time when school systems struggle to invest in professional development, we are grateful to be able to provide an award program that recognizes and develops new professionals into effective district leaders.”
