MasterLibrary Announces Interactive Floor Plan Tool

Facility management application solutions provider MasterLibrary recently added a new product to its collection of K–12 solutions. ML Drawings, an interactive floor plan tool, lets users add building assets represented by digital icon stamps to digital floor plans of educational facilities. Each stamp contains further information about the asset being placed.

“We are excited about the launch of ML Drawings and the capabilities it now gives facility professionals,” said Tom Rauscher, MasterLibrary President. “For our users to easily create a digital version of their building through the use of ML Drawings, it will make it easier for the facility departments to view their assets and be more efficient at maintaining them.”

Facility professionals can either map the building’s assets themselves or allow third-party contractors to use ML Drawings during survey work. Other capabilities include two-way integration with ML Work Orders, MasterLibrary’s work order system. Users can schedule work orders or preventative maintenance straight through the asset stamp, as well as access further information about that specific asset.

ML Drawings was released on April 26, 2021.
