Plunkett Raysich Architects Names Two New Partners

Plunkett Raysich Architects in Milwaukee, Wis., recently announced that it has named two new partners to join the firm’s ownership. The architecture and interior design firm’s newest Partners are Mike Bahr and Devin Kack, according to a press release.

“We continue to evolve our culture to focus on client-centered innovation and care. We welcome Devin and Mike to our leadership team to continue their work championing the impact that design, project process and communication have upon creating successful projects,” said Scott Kramer, PRA Managing Partner.

Devin Kack, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP has been with PRA since 2005 and received a PRA design scholarship at the UW-Milwaukee School of Architecture and Urban Planning. A press release states that he has contributed to projects among each of PRA’s studios and has focused on advancing the design of learning environments. His past experience includes work for school districts in Beaver Dam, Brown Deer, Burlington, Franklin, Oak Creek and Sussex, all in Wisconsin.

“I am excited to contribute in a new way as a Partner at PRA,” Kack said. “I attribute my success to each of our clients and our team members, whether they have been with us for 3 days or 30 years. I am very excited to see what innovative solutions we will create and where we will all go together in the future.”

Mike Bahr, AIA, meanwhile, joins the firm’s management with more than 30 years of experience under his belt. Bahr helped develop and manage the firm’s Civic Design Studio from 1999 to 2014. He left PRA in 2014 to help consult on client engagement tasks and develop ways to apply evidence-based technique to the master plans of facilities. He has managed multiple projects that won awards and lectured at several universities on design, management and marketing. Bahr rejoined PRA in 2019 as the leader of its Business Development and Marketing team.

“I am sincerely honored to become Partner,” Bahr said. “The people of PRA are some of the best people I have ever known. This is a group of energetic and talented professionals that look for ways to do better every day. It is energizing and enormously fulfilling to work with people you respect this much. I look forward to it every day!”

“Mike and Devin join our leadership group after following different career paths, but they each have the same drive toward innovative design and increasing the impact buildings have on user experiences,” said Partner Nicholas Kent. “That’s always our goal—seeking ways to make our client and end-user experiences better.”
