Kimball International Debuts Health & Education Experience Center

Kimball International recently opened a new facility at its corporate headquarters in Jasper, Ind., that will act as a hands-on showroom for a variety of its furniture products and solutions, according to a news release. The 13,000-square-foot Health & Education Experience Center was originally designed by Gensler as the headquarters for Kimball International’s National brand and already incorporates factors like daylight, acoustics, air quality, ergonomics, and employee wellness.

The Health & Education Experience Center will present environments for designers, dealers, and end users to see health and education products in proper contexts with the ultimate goal of inspiring, educating, and empowering visitors. Examples of caregiver stations, patient rooms, student study centers, flexible learning spaces, and more demonstrate the products’ uses to their fullest capacity, the news release reports.

"We are incredibly excited to announce the opening of our Health & Education Experience Center, a testament to our significant investment and focus in these vertical markets,” said Jessica Gubbins, Kimball International’s Vice President of Brand, Digital, and Insights Marketing. “We look forward to welcoming customers to our facility to experience firsthand our broad offering of products tailored to meet the unique demands of healthcare and education environments."

The education spaces feature adaptable and flexible designs that meet the evolving needs of the industry. The Center’s education pieces demonstrate how multifunctional spaces can support various learning techniques, help with student well-being, and ultimately attract students and staff, according to the news release.
