Wisconsin District Launches Series of Improvement Projects

The School District of River Falls in River Falls, Wis., recently launched a series of five construction projects scheduled for completion by September 2025, according to a news release. The district partnered with Bray Architects for their design and with integrated construction management firm Kraus-Anderson (KA) for their construction.

Renovations at River Falls High School will include a new 4,000-square-foot multi-purpose room with turf flooring, wrestling room, training room, administrative space, and storage. The $5.75-million project also features new bleachers for the gym, new fire alarm devices, and locker bay security doors, the news release reports.

The second project is the new construction of a $5-million, two-story Transportation Center. Amenities will include workrooms, offices, and in-floor heat, as well as a new parking area and retention ponds.

Finally, interior renovations and maintenance and security upgrades will take place at Meyer Middle School ($5 million), Rocky Branch Elementary ($2.7 million), and Westside Elementary ($3.2 million).

Funding for the renovations comes from a facilities bond passed in February 2024, according to the district website.
