DLR Group Hires Higher Education Business Development Leader

Integrated design firm DLR Group recently announced that Senior Associate Megan Todd will serve as its new Higher Education Business Development Leader, according to a news release. Her responsibilities will include building the firm’s reach and client relationships in the California higher education sector, based out of San Diego. She has more than two decades of industry experience in business development.

“Todd brings a breadth of industry insight that will be instrumental in strengthening our presence throughout California,” said Stu Rothenberger, AIA, LEED AP, DLR Group Senior Principal and Global Higher Education Leader.  “Known for her professionalism, approachability, and strategic mindset, Todd is well-positioned to elevate client relationships and inspire meaningful progress across the higher education sector.”

Her background has built up professional strengths of client engagement, building lasting partnerships, strategic messaging, and recognizing the importance of storytelling, the news release reports. She also specializes in spearheading proposal and pursuit strategies, as ell as advising emerging professionals.

According to the news release, she is also “passionate about creating inclusive spaces for professional development, particularly for women in the industry. She believes that empowering others through mentorship and visibility is key to long-term success.”

“As I begin my journey with DLR Group, I am committed to leveraging extensive experience in business development to drive growth in the Higher Education sector across California,” said Todd. “My focus will be on creating sustainable, collaborative, and future-ready campus environments.”
