Building Innovation convenes professionals from government agencies, the AEC industry, academia, and community organizations to examine how buildings and critical infrastructure function as interconnected systems. The conference focuses on strategies for aligning energy, water, transportation, and building systems through expert-led sessions, panels, and workshops. Discussions address coordination across sectors, policy and standards alignment, and the application of data and technology to infrastructure challenges. The program includes federal initiative overviews and opportunities for cross-sector exchange. Participants may earn AIA Learning Units, ICC credits, and certificates of attendance.
