Student Housing Calculator Web Tool Is Live

BIRMINGHAM, AL – StudentHousingCalculator.com was recently unveiled to serve higher education as a free web tool, designed specifically for campus housing program planners. The tool has been used for many years by COCM, a student housing professionals firm, in their Fresh Eyes consulting service with campus clients. Earlier this year, COCM began the process of automating the Student Housing Calculator, so that institutions would have free access to a system that easily determines the number of beds their campus needs at any given time. COCM's goal with the Student Housing Calculator, is to take the mystery and confusion out of campus housing planning.

Alton Irwin, Chief Marketing Officer of COCM, says about the calculator, “COCM is pleased to provide the Student Housing Calculator as a free tool to take the mystery out of campus housing planning. We view it as a means to ‘give back’ to the institutions we have been honored to serve and higher education in general.”

COCM is a group of student housing professionals focused on helping their partners leverage campus housing to enhance student recruitment and retention, as well as student satisfaction and success. They provide one-of-a-kind management solutions for one-of-a-kind campuses. Headquartered in Birmingham, AL, COCM provides management services for over 33,000 beds at 38 campuses.
