University of Colorado Boulder Aerospace Engineering Building Nears Completion
The University of Colorado Boulder (CU) is celebrating the final stages of construction for the new Aerospace Engineering Building on their Boulder, CO, campus. The final steel beam was recently installed on the project, which broke ground in October of 2017.
The Aerospace Engineering Building is designed to serve as a place to build partnerships between CU engineering students and the aerospace industry, both within Colorado and nationally. The new facility will feature labs and collaborative learning spaces for advanced aerospace research.
Hord Coplan Macht is the designer for the project, with Whiting Turner acting as the construction management firm. The new building is slated for completion in July of 2019.
