Campus Expansion Begins at Golden West College

Construction is underway on a campus expansion at Golden West College in Huntington Beach, CA. The expansion project is being undertaken in response to growing enrollment at the school. It will also be part of a larger effort to promote a spirit of “innovation and invention” on the campus.

Golden West College Campus Expansion

New construction at Golden West is focused on buildings for a variety of academic disciplines ranging from cosmetology to the humanities. Smaller buildings will be demolished to create space for the new facilities. Additionally, new conference spaces are being constructed to handle special campus events. Deadlines and completion dates for the projects are variable—depending on funding and academic schedules.

    Tennessee Tech University recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Advanced Construction and Manufacturing Engineering (ACME) Building on its campus in Cookeville, Tenn., according to university news. The $89.6-million facility is the second in a recent expansion of the College of Engineering’s buildings on campus. It’s currently scheduled to open at the end of 2028.
