Connecticut High School Opens in Time for the New School Year

Harding High School BridgeportThe new Harding High School in Bridgeport, Conn., recently wrapped up construction in time for the 2018 school year. The new facility replaces an older high school building that had been in use since 1925. The new school features computer labs, new science labs, and a student health center.

Totaling 207,000 square feet, the new high school will serve roughly 1,150 students in the Bridgeport area. Aside from academic and social spaces, the new facility will also feature a day care center. The new Harding High School opened with the start of the school year in late August 2018.

Formerly known as the Bobcat Stadium End Zone Complex, the Johnny and Nathali Weisman Football Performance Center is an 85,000-square-foot expansion featuring hospitality spaces, banquet spaces, exterior concourses, and upgrades to the field house.

  • LSU Breaks Ground on $200M Residential Project

    Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, La., recently broke ground on a new residential complex, according to university news. The South Quad residential project will consist of two buildings and add a total of 1,266 beds for freshmen students. The development comes with a price tag of $200 million, and it’s scheduled to open to students in fall 2027.
