Granite State College Honored with National Award in the 2018 Collegiate Advertising Awards Program

CONCORD, NH – Granite State College was named among the best in the nation in the 2018 Collegiate Advertising Awards program, earning top honors for Special Video Production–Single. Created in partnership with BC Media Productions, this is the third award received for the 2018 “Also Students” marketing campaign.

The Collegiate Advertising Awards (CAA) is an elite program recognizing higher education organizations for excellence in communications, marketing, advertising, and promotions of their schools.

The 2018 CAA program had more than 900 entries from across the U.S. representing a diverse plethora of educational facilities from small community colleges to very large schools and universities. All submissions were reviewed and scored by a national panel of industry experts, with a possibility of 100 total points. Participant’s entries competed against similar-sized organizations in their specific groups and categories.

Awards were issued for entries that received top marks from judges placing them in the top 16% of the nation for educational advertising excellence.

Granite State College earned a gold award in its category, placing their video within the top 5 percent in the nation.

Judging criteria included creativity, layout and design, functionality, message effectiveness, production quality, and overall appeal.

“The 2018 ‘Also Students’ video features students and recent graduates. They truly are leaders in their communities and we’re honored to have them serve as representatives of Granite State College,” says Jacqui Lantagne, associate director of Marketing. “Receiving recognition for from CAA for a project that embodies our institution in such a personal way is a special honor, and we all share in the celebration.”

Representing all areas of communications, medias, marketing, advertising, and promotions, the 2018 Collegiate Advertising Awards program contained some of the best advertising projects arguably in the world. The Collegiate Advertising Awards is pleased to recognize the outstanding creative achievements of Granite State College.
