Be Recognized as a Leader in Classroom Design — Submit Your Concept

Silver Spring, Md. – The Education Market Association (EDmarket) calls upon leaders in the design community to submit proposals for classroom designs for education sessions taking place at EDspaces, October 23-25, 2019 in Milwaukee, Wisc.

“At EDspaces, we believe in walking the talk in terms of experiential learning,” says Jim McGarry, EDmarket President/CEO of EDmarket. “These future-focused educational environments provide an extension of learning for participants to experience first-hand the latest product and space innovation.”

“Designing an EDspaces Classroom last year provided my firm with an opportunity to make an impact on a national level, and continue to put Oklahoma on the map in leading education design,” says Andrea Durbin, NCIDQ, IIDA, an interior designer at MA+ ARCHITECTURE. “It allowed my whole team to think outside the box and to explore spatial interaction, color, and varying furniture types.”

    The Canutillo Independent School District in El Paso, Texas, recently announced that construction has begun on a 119,000-square-foot elementary school, according to a news release. The district partnered with Pfluger Architects, Carl Daniel Architects, and LDCM Solutions on the new Davenport Elementary School, which has an expected completion date of 2027.
