IIE to Provide Emergency Funding for International Students

The Institute of International Education has started an emergency fund to help international students on U.S. campuses. The organization is calling IIE Network Member institutions to nominate international students who are not able to return to their home countries over the summer due to COVID-19 for a grant of up to $2,500.

Each IIE member can nominate up to five students to receive the funds for living and health-related expenses. Students must be nominated by an international student advisor or other campus official. Institutions should designate one person per campus to nominate students.

The deadline for nominations is April 26. Nominate students here.
