Healthy Facilities Institute Supports Launch of Leadership Book for Custodians

Meridian, Idaho ─ The Healthy Facilities Institute (HFI) is pleased to support the formal cleaning sector launch of the groundbreaking leadership book, Who Swings Your Mop, by Michael B. Ward.

According to Allen Rathey, principal of HFI: “Mike’s book springs from his vast experience leading the cleaning at four school districts in Ohio and Colorado, coupled with his burning passion to dignify a profession that gets little respect.”

“HFI has found a kindred spirit in Mr. Ward, and we want to help him disseminate his message of power and hope to janitors seeking and deserving upward mobility,” notes Rathey.

The book, available on both CreateSpace and Amazon, is not mainly about cleaning methods or tools, but rather, personal growth and achievement.

Topics Include:

  • Conducting yourself as a professional
  • Mission statements that work
  • How to be a winner, not a whiner
  • Networking
  • And much more.
