MiraCosta Community College Announces Construction Plans

MiraCosta Community College recently announced new construction and facility upgrade plans for their campuses in Oceanside and San Elijo, CA. Temporary offices and classroom spaces will be constructed on both campuses in preparation for more extensive new construction projects in the near future.

Additionally, both campuses will see upgraded parking areas and the beginnings of new construction for multiple facilities.  The San Elijo Campus will receive an upgrade on its B600 building. This includes remodeled classroom spaces and upgraded plumbing, HVAC, and roofing systems for the space.

Mira Costa Community College

The Oceanside campus will benefit from the construction of a comprehensive Veteran Center, aimed at increasing the number of student veterans on campus and providing support services. The center will serve as a gateway to the upgraded campus. The projects at both campuses will be completed by January 1, 2019.

    Plum Senior High School in Pittsburgh, Penn., recently partnered with South-Dakota-based Daktronics through the We’re All Mustangs Here Foundation to upgrade the technology in its athletics facilities, according to a news release. Daktronics designed, built, and installed new LED video displays and finished the project in time for the beginning of the 2025 high-school football season.
