UG2 Announces Top Green Cleaning Certification

UG2, an integrated facilities services company, earned a top award from a worldwide cleaning industry association. The company earned ISSA Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS) and CIMS-Green Building (GB) certification that demonstrates the comprehensive development and implementation of operating policies and procedures to give the best services for customers and that delivers a comprehensive green cleaning program based on LEEDEB: O&M green cleaning criteria.

CIMS and CIMS-GB certifications are required in many cleaning service bid specifications as customers look for an effective way to identify high-quality providers. CIMS and CIMS-GB certified firms must meet the following industry standard:

  • Service delivery
  • Human resources
  • Health, safety, and environmental stewardship
  • Management commitment
  • Green building
