Da-Lite Announces Upgrades to Modus VR Product Library

Da-Lite, a brand of AV technology company Legrand | AV, recently announced the addition of a new Tensioned Advantage electric screen and SightLine cable drop to its Modus VR visual experience product library. Da-Lite and Modus VR have scheduled a live demonstration or the visualization tool, the manufacturer’s first projection screen system on the platform, on Wednesday, Feb. 14, according to a news release.

“Two years ago, the SightLine cable drop feature redefined the projection screen category with its ability to add visual appeal and solve the most time-consuming obstacles in projection screen installations,” said Wendy Cox, Director of Product Management at Da-Lite. “Now you can see this eye-catching feature and speed up the buying decision process in a compelling way.”

SightLine offers the aesthetic of a floating screen through use of the Tensioned Advantage and Advantage electric screens. The news release reports that the suspension system features “three or four thin cables that can accommodate drop distances up to 70” (standard) and 10’ (optional) between the ceiling and the top of the screen.” The simplified design leaves room above the screen for cameras and speakers.
