Introducing ProTeam's GoFit® 3 / 6 Cordless Series

As the commercial cleaning industry continues to evolve, ProTeam is ready with innovative products to fulfill the industry's demands. Our latest innovation is the GoFit 3 / 6 Cordless Series, two new backpack vacuums in 3- and 6-qt. models that launched in April 2024.

Go cordless with GoFit backpack vacuums

The new ProTeam GoFit cordless backpack vacuums combine the comfort of a compact and lighter-weight profile with the cord-free convenience of advanced Lithium-ion battery power. Both models provide high efficiency cleaning and come equipped with ProTeam's industry-leading advanced filtration and ergonomic harness systems.

"The new units meet the latest requirements of commercial cleaning companies for greater productivity, more mobility, and more convenience," says Matt Reimers, Vice President and General Manager of ProTeam. "The 3-qt size is perfect for those new to wearing a backpack vacuum, while the larger 6-qt. model is ideal for bigger cleaning challenges."

Field-tested, crew-approved

The GoFit Cordless backpack vacuums were put to the test in a 2023 field study among commercial building cleaning crews. Of the cleaning services that deployed them for 24 hours, 92% of users had positive experiences and were likely to recommend them to coworkers. The new units received praise for their extended runtimes, ease of use and harness comfort. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive.

Compact and cordless

GoFit Cordless Series provides freedom of movement without the constraints of power outlets and tangled cords. Crew members tell us they could easily clean locations that had been difficult with corded vacuums.

"I like that it's compact and cordless. I can vacuum hallways and stairways with no electrical outlets." Nicole D., Harvest, AL

"I could vacuum the back corner I could never reach with a corded vacuum." Pam W., Chesterfield, MO

"I love that there is no hassling with the cords." Jerry B., Newnan, GA

Battery life is really good

The two units are equipped with high/low switches and available with a choice of two extended-run Lithium-ion batteries. The 4Ah battery runs about 51 minutes on low or 39 minutes on high, and the 8Ah battery runs approximately 106 minutes on low or 83 minutes on high. Both battery options provide a minimum of 1000 charge cycles, with a charge time approximately equal to runtime.

"Battery life is really good with a good rate of recharge. The two-speed motor is very helpful to extend battery life." Richard S., Iowa City, IA

"Even as the battery goes down, it still has full power." E. Curry, Junction City, KS

Quite easy to use

With a smaller size, high/low switch and adjustable wands, crews say they were easy to use and maneuver. The high/ low switch means users can shift between low power for routine cleaning and high power for detailed cleaning without sacrificing vacuuming efficacy.

Both models are available with versatile wand and tool kit configurations.

"It's quite easy to use and easy to maneuver." E Alexia, Nashville, TN

"Like the high/low setting." Ron W., Wildwood, MO

"I like the adjustable wand." Dan M., Omaha, NE

Easier to clean the airlock entrance

GoFit Cordless backpack vacuums improve productivity and safety. ISSA Cleaning Times studies show a cordless vacuum cleans 30% faster than a corded one and 5 times faster than an upright vacuum. Because there are no cords, reduces tripping hazards for users or pedestrians in high-traffic areas. Cleaning locations without outlets, like airlock entrances and stairways, is safer with GoFit's cordless backpack vacuums.

"It was easier to clean the airlock entrance – no worries about the door damaging the cord." Nicole D., Harvest, AL

"Eliminated the tripping hazard of having a cord stretched across a hallway." Ron W., Wildwood, MO

"I was able to vacuum the stairs without stopping to find an outlet." – Pam W., Chesterfield, MO

Thick padded harness

With thicker padding, the quick-adjust harness provides customized comfort that can be quickly adjusted for each user. The lighter-weight units are more comfortable for users to wear for longer periods of time.

"I like the thick padded harness." Dan M., Omaha, NE

"It's lightweight and cordless – perfect for office cleaning." Ilianeth G., Atlanta, GA

Dusting high areas is easier

The lighter-weight units with adjustable wands make it easier to clean higher areas to remove dust. Both 3- and 6-qt. models offer multiple layers of filtration that capture allergens and asthma triggers to improve Indoor Air Quality. Battery-powered vacuums are quieter than corded ones, a benefit during day-cleaning operations or vacuuming while businesses are open to the public.

"Now I can vacuum stairways and steps, in bathrooms, and confined areas. Dusting high areas is easier." Richard S., Iowa City, IA

"No need to locate outlets in unfamiliar spaces." Dana K., Carrollton, GA

Go anywhere, for longer

The GoFit 3 / 6 Cordless Series is the latest innovation from ProTeam—providing cordless convenience + extended runtimes + comfortable backpacks.
