University of Utah Launches Utah 360 App

The University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah, recently announced that it has partnered with digital engagement hub Pathify to launch a new app for the university community, according to a news release. Utah 360 unifies multiple existing campus apps into a single platform to simplify use for students, faculty, alumni, and athletics followers. Users can personalize the app according to their own interests and needs.

“The Utah 360 app helps every member of the U community streamline communication, so they’re getting the relevant and useful information they want and need in one location,” said Jeff Labrum, University Chief Operating Officer.

According to the news release, students can use the app to access their UCard balance, campus event information, safety notifications, bus routes and campus maps, student group information, and other resources. Athletics fans can use it to access event tickets, receive notifications on gameday, view game schedules and statistics, find parking, and access mobile concessions. Alumni can access university news, events, and other alumni information. Finally, faculty and staff can access administrative internal tools in addition to checking their UCard balances and receiving university news and notifications.

“Utah 360 perfectly captures the spirit of what Pathify does — bring clarity, simplicity and personalization to the higher ed experience,” said Pathify CEO and Co-Founder Chase Williams. “We’re proud to fundamentally reimagine how people interact with universities digitally.”

The university selected Pathify’s Engagement Hub for app development following a substantive Request for Proposal (RFP) process in February 2025, the news release reports.
