2017 ISSA Innovation Award Program Open for Submissions

Northbrook, Ill.― ISSA, the worldwide cleaning industry association, is pleased to announce that the ISSA Innovation Award Program is now accepting entries for 2017. Now in its 11th year, the program serves as a platform for exhibitors to launch their product and service innovations, which are then voted on by cleaning-industry distributors, building service contractors, residential cleaning contractors, and in-house service providers.

The ISSA Innovation Award Program features the latest products and services from top manufacturers and suppliers throughout the cleaning industry. Entries are organized in five categories: Cleaning Agents; Dispensers; Equipment; Services and Technology; and Supplies and Accessories. All exhibiting entries will be on display in the ISSA Innovation Showcase, Booth 517, during ISSA/INTERCLEAN® North America 2017, in Las Vegas, NV, September 11-14, 2017.

In addition to the Standard Entry package, this year’s program also offers a new Premium Entry package, which highlights exhibitors’ products during the ISSA-TV Live show floor tour as well as additional exposure across ISSA channels for the three months leading up to, and at, ISSA/INTERCLEAN. Online voting begins July 10, 2017. Cleaning professionals can vote onsite at ISSA/INTERCLEAN North America September 12-14, 2017. A total of11 winners will be chosen: five from online voting, five from onsite voting, and one overall ISSA Innovation of the Year, which will be chosen through a combination of online and onsite votes and review by a panel of judges.

  • Phoenix High School Completes First Phase of Campus Renovations

    Metro Tech High School, part of the Phoenix Union High School District (PXU) in Phoenix, Ariz., recently announced the completion of the first stage of a campus renovation project, according to a news release. The school reopened a series of public-facing business operations spaces including credit union, daycare, floral, cosmetology, and culinary services. It also includes new CTE learning spaces for the school’s nursing assistant, pharmacy, and sports medicine programs.

  • Houston-Area High School Receives Best Project Award from ENR

    Tomball West High School near Houston, Texas, recently received a K–12 Education Best Project Award in Engineering News-Record’s 2026 Texas & Southeast Best Projects Awards, according to a press release. The new facility was completed in May and opened its doors to students for the fall 2026 semester.
