Gateway Project Begins at Lycoming College

Lycoming College in Williamsport, PA, recently began its “Gateway Project,” a large-scale construction project which will create a new entrance to the college with multiple new buildings. The new facilities for the college will include a new admissions building, a welcome center, a café, and an alumni center.

The new face of the campus is part of a larger plan to revitalize the Wiliamsport downtown area. The new space will provide spaces for both college students and Williamsport community members to use and enjoy. Construction for the Gateway Project is set to be completed in fall 2019.

The university is partnering with Nvision Development for construction and long-term management of the facility, which will stand five stories and have the capacity for more than 570 beds.

  • California School District Completes Elementary School Modernization

    The San Diego Unified School District in San Diego, Calif., recently held a ribbon-cutting for a whole-site modernization of Pacific Beach Elementary School, according to local news. The school first opened with one building in 1930 and added six more between 1938 and 1957.
