Kimball International to Open New Boston Showroom

Furnishings provider Kimball International recently announced that it has found a new home for its showroom in Boston, Mass. According to a news release, the showroom will move to a 12,500-square-foot space near the entrance to the Seaport District and open its doors in late summer of 2023. The showroom will feature five Kimball International brands: Kimball, National, Etc., Interwoven, and Poppin.

“As customers reimagine their return to work, we will utilize this new space to address the importance of collaboration,” said Michael Roch, Kimball International’s Chief Customer Officer. “This space will showcase a variety of our solutions that support new ways of working, including tech-enabled spaces for in-person, virtual, and mixed-presence meetings. The Boston showroom will be a destination where our customers and business partners will create personal experiences and feel a sense of belonging.”

The Seaport District is located near Boston’s Inner Harbor and includes spaces like art installations, upscale restaurants, and pedestrian walkway Harbor Way. The new Kimball International Boston Showroom itself will be just a two-minute walk away from the Boston Tea Party Museum, positioning it in a busy and thriving part of town. The space will include brick walls, natural light and high ceilings. Kimball announced that it is partnering with Eastlake Studio for the space’s design.

“We are thrilled to be moving to a new and larger space where we can really highlight who we are as Kimball International,” said Jessica Gubbins, Kimball International’s Senior Director of Marketing. “Whether joining us to experience our products, participate in a learning experience, thought-leadership event, or simply socialize, we are excited to create an interactive environment for our guests.”
