Winners Announced for 2014 Noel-Levitz Retention Excellence Awards

CORALVILLE, IA — Noel-Levitz, a leading higher education consulting firm specializing in student retention, recruitment, financial aid, market research and communications development, recently announced the winners of the 2014 Lee Noel and Randi Levitz Retention Excellence Awards. The awards recognize innovative campus retention programs that have encouraged students to succeed and persevere through graduation.

The following institutions will be formally recognized for their winning retention efforts at this year’s National Conference on Student Recruitment, Marketing and Retention, taking place July 8-10 in Chicago:

  • Rockhurst University, Kansas City, MO
  • Sauk Valley Community College, Dixon, IL
  • Western Illinois University, Macomb, IL

The Retention Excellence Awards Program was established by Noel-Levitz in 1989 to honor outstanding achievements in student retention by colleges and universities throughout the United States and Canada.   • UPenn Announces Completion of New Veterinary Education Facility

    The University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Penn., recently finished construction on an 11,800-square-foot veterinary education building, according to a news release. The Gail P. Riepe Center for Advanced Veterinary Education is the first dedicated classroom facility at the New Bolton Center, a large-animal hospital and campus about 35 miles west of the campus proper.

    Concordia College Completes Memorial Auditorium Renovations

    Concordia College in Moorhead, Minn., recently completed a $2.5-million renovation project to Memorial Auditorium, a news release reports. The college partnered with Kraus-Anderson for the project’s construction and ICON Architectural Group for its design.
