Moore County Prepares for New School Construction

The “Area I Elementary School” was announced and enjoyed a groundbreaking ceremony recently in Moore County, N.C. The new school, slated to open around August of 2019 will provide much needed space for the growing district.

The school also will relieve the district of mobile units being used as classrooms. The initial site was abandoned, and the new 36-acre site was announced as a new home for the school. The new school is first on the docket of many proposed improvements and upgrades for Moore County.

    The University of Kentucky recently reopened Scovell Hall, part of the Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment (CAFE), following comprehensive renovations to the 120-year-old facility in Lexington, Ky., according to a news release.

  • Tennessee Middle School Completes Health, Life Safety Renovations

    The Giles County Board of Education in Pulaski, Tenn., recently announced that a series of renovation projects has been completed at Bridgeforth Middle School, according to a news release. The district partnered with Wold Architects & Engineers and Brindley Construction to modernize building systems at one of the district’s oldest schools.
