Columbia College Celebrates Groundbreaking for New Facility

Columbia College in Columbia, MO, recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for a new facility. The new four-story hall is being constructed in response to a 13 percent increase in enrollment last fall.

The new facility will be multi-faceted, and will house the School of Business Administration, several classrooms, and student residence rooms on the upper floors. Construction of the new facility is beginning this spring, and has a targeted completion date of sometime in August 2019.

The new facility for Wayside Middle School, originally established in 1964, was built on the site of the former district administration building and funded through Bond Proposition A in 2023.
