Columbia College Celebrates Groundbreaking for New Facility

Columbia College in Columbia, MO, recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for a new facility. The new four-story hall is being constructed in response to a 13 percent increase in enrollment last fall.

The new facility will be multi-faceted, and will house the School of Business Administration, several classrooms, and student residence rooms on the upper floors. Construction of the new facility is beginning this spring, and has a targeted completion date of sometime in August 2019.

The 2,450-square-foot lab space is inside the College of Communication and Media building and will serve students pursuing careers in digital media, virtual reality, and content creation.

  • CSU Starts Construction on New Engineering Building

    Colorado State University in Denver, Colo., recently began clearing space for the construction of the new Don and Susie Law Engineering Future Technologies Building, according to a news release.
