Irvine Unified School District Begins Construction

Irvine Unified School District in Irvine, Ca., recently began construction on its newest school—Loma Ridge Elementary School. The new facility, the District’s 24th elementary school, will help to serve a rapidly growing student population in the region, and will sit on an 11.3 acre site.

The new Loma Ridge school will be designed with flexibility in mind, featuring versatile learning spaces, innovation and science labs, and music rooms. The new school is expected to open in August of 2019.
