LAN Welcomes New Program Manager

Planning, engineering, and program management services firm LAN recently announced that it has welcomed a new Program Manager to its team. A news release reports that Samantha Solorio will join the firm’s San Antonio office to support collaboration with the city’s Alamo Colleges District. LAN and the Alamo Colleges District are currently partnering on a series of renovation projects including upgrades to 65 facilities around the city, according to a news release.

Solorio, a Project Management Professional (PMP), has almost 15 years’ experience with architectural, design-build, and project-management experience, the news release reports. She has also worked as a Senior Construction Project Manager and handled multimillion-dollar renovations in healthcare and higher education facilities. She has a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) in Monterrey, Mexico.

“Samantha’s experience in project management and architectural design is adding great value to the Alamo Colleges project,” said JP Grom, LAN Vice President. “With her architectural background, she has high-level skills in managing building layouts and renovations. I’m thrilled that LAN’s culture—and the exciting projects we lead—made LAN the destination for Samantha’s career growth.”
