i-PRO, NovoTrax Partner for New School Emergency Response Solution

i-PRO Americas, Inc., which manufactures edge computing cameras, recently announced a partnership with NovoTrax, provider of end-to-end life safety and mass notification solutions, to address gaps in emergency response workflows at K–12 schools, according to a news release. The combination of the two technologies—video protection systems and a unified life safety platform—is intended to streamline integration between video security and mass notification systems.

During emergency situations on school property, workflows can sometimes require school officials and first responders to manually navigate through separate systems to access video feeds or send alerts. According to the news release, the partnership’s goal is to be able to provide live video, real-time location information, and integrated communication to form actionable intelligence within seconds of the initial alert.

“Disconnected systems and fragmented workflows create real safety risks for schools,” said NovoTrax President Dave Gleason. “We’re proud to partner with i-PRO—an organization that shares our focus on quality—to close those gaps, accelerate emergency response, and strengthen the tools available to keep our schools safe.”

The NovoTrax EduTrax platform offers seamless systems integration and mass notification capabilities that unify separate school safety technologies. The partnership aligns with i-PRO’s open technology mindset, which prioritizes delivering flexible and scalable technology.

“School districts need trusted partners who can solve real integration problems, not just adding more systems,” said Masami Eguchi, President, i-PRO Americas. “By combining i-PRO’s mission-critical video capabilities with NovoTrax’s expertise in intelligent mass notification, we will enable educators and first responders to close critical gaps in emergency response workflows.”
