ClassVR Wins Tech & Learning Best of Show at ISTELive 25

Avantis Education recently announced that its flagship product, ClassVR, won the Tech & Learning Best of Show Award at ISTELive 25 in San Antonio, Texas, according to a news release. The program is designed to celebrate products that are “transforming education in schools around the world and that show the greatest promise for the industry,” and this is the fourth consecutive year that Avantis has claimed the award.

“We are honored to receive this award for a fourth year in a row,” said Huw Williams, Avantis Education CEO. “Avantis Education provides innovative, cutting-edge VR/AR technology to engage and inspire students and we are constantly working to ensure our products are meeting teachers’ needs. This win reinforces the value that our products bring to both educators and students.”

ClassVR is a VR/AR solution offering both the software and hardware for interactive lessons and 360-degree experiences from a library of curriculum-aligned content, the news release reports. The solution is currently used by more than 2 million students in 250,000 classrooms in 90 countries.

During ISTELive25, Avantis debuted two new headset accessories—Xcelerate and Xplorer, the news release reports.

“ClassVR is the total package when it comes to bringing and scaling Virtual Reality use for schools to adopt this technology,” said one of the judges. “ClassVR not only has made the hardware and management of that hardware easy for schools to adopt and implement, it has also created a phenomenal software platform to complement this amazing system.”
