Call for Opinions: Spaces4Learning 2026 Predictions for Educational Facilities

Educational institutions are always evolving. The needs of K–12 and higher education facilities change based on new developments in technology, construction, pedagogy, health and wellness standards, and more. As 2025 winds to a close, the Spaces4Learning staff is asking its readers—school administrators, architects, engineers, facilities managers, builders, superintendents, designers, vendors, and more—to send us their predictions for educational facilities in 2026.

We’re asking you to make your voice heard and fill out the Spaces4Learning 2026 Trends and Predictions Survey. The six brief questions will gather information on trends and areas of focus that you anticipate moving to the front burner next year, such as artificial intelligence and automation, doing more with less, sustainability, and adaptive reuse, among many more. The results and selected opinions will be included in an upcoming series of feature stories.

For reference, please see the S4L 2025 Trends in K–12 story and the 2025 Trends in Higher Education story. The final call for submissions is Monday, January 5, 2026.
