Fellowes Expands Finish and Wall-Covering Options for Architectural Wall Systems
Fellowes Architectural Solutions has expanded the materials library for its architectural wall systems with a series of new finishes and wall-covering options intended to provide architects and designers with additional choices for commercial interiors, according to a company news release.
The update includes three new premium paint finishes—Bordeaux, Midnight, and Dark Bronze—for both the Titan and Volo systems. The additions expand the available color palette with darker tones designed to complement a range of interior design approaches, from neutral schemes to layered accent applications.
The company also introduced WoodFX, a collection of wood-look trim finishes for the Titan system. The trims are designed to provide the appearance of natural wood while maintaining the durability and maintenance characteristics associated with commercial architectural wall systems. Because Titan uses a modular trim design, the finishes can be updated without replacing the full wall assembly, according to the release. WoodFX is currently available with a minimum order requirement of two rooms.
In a separate announcement, Fellowes said it has formed a partnership with Maharam to add Type II wallcoverings to its materials portfolio. The collection includes five patterns available in 91 colorways and is compatible with the Volo Monolithic and Volo Framed systems.
According to the company, the Type II wallcoverings are designed for medium-duty commercial applications and offer enhanced durability, impact resistance, and scrub resistance compared to Type I wallcoverings. Intended applications include education, healthcare, and hospitality environments, such as classrooms, libraries, teachers' lounges, family waiting areas, and similar high-traffic spaces.
The new finishes and wallcoverings are available for specification and ordering, according to the release.
