Petersen Mfg. partners with GLOBALTAP for the manufacturing of a unique design of bottle fillers. HBO’s The Weight of The Nation recently partnered with GLOBALTAP to implement water fountains in schools across the nation as part of a national effort to combat obesity. One hundred water stations were installed in 12 cities across the country. GLOBALTAP has launched a specially designed bottle and filling station for schools and public locations featuring the Drink Up colors and logos.

For every public tap station GLOBALTAP installs, one Drink Up tap station will be donated by GLOBALTAP to a school at no charge. The fountains are available in many styles. Pictured is the Model 1500 Dual Fountain that student Chris Siemer is using to fill a water bottle.

GLOBALTAP fountains are made to withstand all outdoor and indoor conditions. All units are constructed with heavy-duty steel, with stainless steel inner surfaces. The stainless steel spout and actuation buttons are made to withstand constant use and abuse. All outer surfaces are powder-coated and sealed with weather resistant DuPont paint, corrosion protection and a graffiti-proof clear coating. GLOBALTAP stations are ADA-compliant, include a two-year manufacturer’s warranty and are MADE IN THE USA.

    The University of Texas System Board of Regents recently approved funds to build the first facility of a new campus in far west Fort Worth, Texas, according to university news. UTA West will serve as a branch of the University of Texas at Arlington and is scheduled to open in fall 2028.
