University of Montevallo Celebrates Arts Center Groundbreaking

The University of Montevallo in Montevallo, AL, recently held the groundbreaking for its new Center for the Arts. The new facility will feature spaces that are aimed at teaching and learning across several fine arts disciplines.

Among other features, the Center will have a performance venue with 350 seats and a 100-seat black box theater, alongside a courtyard that will be home to both outdoor performances and receptions. The facility will serve both students and the surrounding community.
