Columbia College Celebrates Groundbreaking for New Facility

Columbia College in Columbia, MO, recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for a new facility. The new four-story hall is being constructed in response to a 13 percent increase in enrollment last fall.

The new facility will be multi-faceted, and will house the School of Business Administration, several classrooms, and student residence rooms on the upper floors. Construction of the new facility is beginning this spring, and has a targeted completion date of sometime in August 2019.

    The Lamar Consolidated Independent School District (Lamar CISD) recently announced the completion of a new elementary school in a western suburb of Houston, Texas, according to a news release. Haygood Elementary School measures in at 110,000 square feet, has the capacity for 854 students, and is the first of three new schools scheduled to be built in the Cross Creek West community.

  • Harvard Announces Replacement Facility for Native American Program

    Harvard University in Cambridge, Mass., recently announced that construction will begin this spring on a new home for its Native American Program, according to university news. The 6,500-square-foot, all-electric building will stand three stories and serve as the central hub for the Harvard University Native American Program (HUNAP).
