Flooring Company Appoints New Commercial Brand Leader

Flooring solutions provider Shaw Industries Group, Inc., a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, Inc., has tapped Shannon Cochran to be the new brand leader of Patcraft. Cochran is replacing former brand leader Jeff West effective immediately.

Cochran served as the vice president of Patcraft’s creative and design team for five years. According to a press release, she will now take responsibility for the brand’s strategy and execution both, assuming responsibility for the marketing team and continuing to lead the design team.

“Shannon drives entrepreneurial success and empowerment and is able to quickly pivot to adapt to changing market needs while maintaining a focused passion for innovation,” said Brenda Knowles, vice president of commercial marketing and product development for Shaw. “Her performance leadership is driven by customer insights across channels and segments and by building strategic partnerships in the market and internally within the enterprise. She helped set the strategic vision for Patcraft in collaboration with Jeff West, and I’m excited to see her vision for the brand continue to evolve going forward.”

Shaw Industries Group, Inc., provides carpet, resilient, hardwood, tile, stone, laminate, synthetic turf, and specialty flooring solutions for commercial and residential markets. The group is headquartered in Dalton, Ga., and is represented in more than ten countries around the world.
